Each year in January fourteen of the world’s leading Chess Grandmasters compete in Wijk aan Zee, next to the plant of Tata Steel in IJmuiden, the most prestigious chess tournament of the world. And in each year a simultaneous exhibition by one of the contestants is being held in Dutch Parliament. This year, for the first time, a simultaneous chess event will be held in the capital of Europe, Brussels.
